Right after we'd moved from our home of 27 years in Oxnard, CA., and were settling down up here in Tehachapi, I heard Mercy Me and was very impressed ... not with just their music, but also with the fact that you could hear it from their hearts in praise. My favorite song of theirs is "I Can Only Imagine" ~ and I know that the reason it meant so much to me was because I had prepared to die in 1985 when I had my brain surgery, and it took me over 6 mos. after my surgery to get over the fact that I hadn't died. My heart just longed to be with my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! Even to this day I have those moments where I can feel my whole being longing to be lifted up and out of this world, and sometimes I wish those moments would stay with me a little longer. But my Father God knows me better than I know myself, and He knows just when my time to see Him will be. So I will continue to do all that I can to give what He has blessed me immensely with each day ... His Great Love, to those I come into contact with. Always remember .... words we say mean very little, ~ but our actions, thoughts, and deeds speak louder that words!!! May we live with the heart of Christ and be doers ... not just sayers of the Word!
